NIPUN- Nipun is a national initiative for developing proficiency in reading with understanding and numeracy. Under NIPUN various activities are conducted to achieve the goal of universal acquisition of foundational literacy and numeracy. Various interesting and fruitful activities are undertaken to ensure the achievement of learning outcomes. Under FLN, the focus lies on providing appropriate opportunities in early literacy and numeracy. With a focus on Language, Literacy and Numeracy, Learning and development in children is holistic and it advances in the areas of health, cognition, linguistic, personal, and social development and well-being simultaneously. Children learn in different ways, styles and at different pace. A print rich and numeracy rich content is displayed in the classrooms to motivate the children to develop interest in pedagogical processes.
